Remember the reason

Christmas is a time of great celebration,
Holly and ivy for all decoration
Rapping paper and gifts for all
Icicles hang and snowflakes fall
Starlight reflects off the glistening snow
Trees with lights and bows all aglow
Music is ringing all through the air
As family and friends show how much they care
So really make sure this Christmas season
-You remember Christ is always the reason.-

Fear Of the Unchanged.

Waking up, I feel afraid.
I feel afraid of a new day.
Afraid of habit, of routine.
Afraid that everything's the same.

Looking in the mirror I see,
The same searching, wanting me.
How long must I sit and watch
All adventure on a screen?

Why can't those stories, thrills of life,
The excitement, love I see
The life of strong, heroic deeds,
Why can't they fall to me?

It seems when I get out of bed,
I don't dread the tears or pain.
I dread the fact, that when I rise
Not a thing will have changed.

Why am I here, if all I do,
Is live life mechanically.
A walking vision of routine.
Unknown identity.

That can't be right, that's not the way.
There must be something more.
Where's the honor in a life
When you doubt what you live for?

Then it hits me. Of course, that's it.
I do know why I live.
To learn, to grow, to love, to see.
To pray, to laugh, to give.

My life is an adventure.
Everyday is a new quest.
A journey to help those I can.
And just try to be my best.

No need to wake up so afraid
That all will be the same
For when I head into the day
I'm the one who makes the change.

Dark to Light!

I wrote this awhile ago, but I realized that it I didn't ever post it. So, here you go!

Fogginess, confusion.
Darkness and illusion.
What is my solution?

Where can I find peace?

Dreariness delusion.
Sadness and seclusion.
What is the conclusion?

Where can I find peace?

Way to much intrusion.
And yet, too much exclusion.
My mind is in confusion!

Where can I find peace?

Where is all the doubt and hatred coming from?
It all just makes me want to cower hide or run!

I think, then I remember, I just need to pray!
I do it, then I know. I chose the right way.

Happy, bliss, contentment,
No feeling of resentment!
Cheerfulness enchantment!

I know I can find peace!

Joy and joviality,
Blessedness and sanctity
Peace of mind,  vivacity.

I know I can find peace!

Unity, reconciliation
Amity, pacification,
Union and conciliation

I know I can find peace!

I prayed and the Lord made this known to me:
I can rid myself of sin, and be free!

All this stuff that keeps me back with dread,
It's all just inside my head!

Nothing need stick around in there,
Instead I'll fill it up with care.

I'll put service instead of hate
I'll think "Hope! It's not too late."

I'll put joy instead of depression
I'll put obedience instead or transgression!

No more self pity inside my head!
For Love is occupied there instead!

I now have found peace.

Colorblind

So, I wrote this random song a while ago... Maybe someday I'll get music to it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! Suggestions welcome. :)

Ring wraiths taking all the power.
Good things dying every hour.
Rainbows spilling out my shoes
Have you heard the same old news?

Put my feet outside the door
Don't know if I'm safe anymore
Blinding colors shout hooray
What a mixed up holiday.

CHORUS:
Somethin' somethin's gotta change!
This place is, this place is getting strange.
Everything and nothing's in our way.
This colorful black world is turning grey.

Trust is turning into dust.
Love is turning into lust.
How are we supposed to find
The light if we are colorblind?

Confetti plugging all the ears
Wake up and see the party's tears.
Smiling, but inside were lost
Is it really worth the cost?

CHORUS

This life seems like paradox,
It lifts you up, knocks off your socks.
Spins you around, then throws you down.
Makes you laugh then sends a frown.

What can we do to make it stop?
It's a scary, lofty drop.
The flashing lights and movie screens
Just seem to be a fading dream.

CHORUS:

What can we do? What can we say?
What won't we do? What won't we say?
What will we do? What will we say?
This colorfully black world's turning grey.
This colorfully black world's turning grey.

CHORUS.

A Small Cloud Floating By.

One upon a time there was
A small cloud floating by
He looked down from his lofty
Place up in the sky.

Children lay upon the grass
Looking up at him
Pointing at the different shapes
That they saw therein.

Some saw a unicorn
Some saw a tall giraffe
Some saw a jolly bearded man
That made them simply laugh.

Others gazed at him and thought
They saw a dragons head.
Others said he looked as if
He were a fox or loaf of bread.

All this time, the little cloud
Wondered who he really was.
"Who is right or wrong? He asked.
What is my one true cause?

Children think I'm mythical.
Scientists think I'm H2o.
Some think I'm the heavens.
Artists think that I'm a show.

Can I just be one certain thing?
Can't I just be one small cloud?
I think that's what I am,
I'll just be that for now."

But once the little cloud
Had settled as a cloud
The winds began to roar
And thunder clapped aloud.

The cloud was drifting from his place.
He was filled with such despair
And he began to cry.
Raining everywhere.

Suddenly he found himself
A mess upon the floor.
Now he was a puddle.
A splash, and nothing more.

So forlorn, he sat there.
Thinking joy could be no more.
For he was so transformed.
So different from before.

People stepped on him.
Not giving it one thought.
He felt so trampled in this state.
Like something quite forgot.

He felt like he was sinking.
Right into dirty ground.
Lower even then before.
Gone, without a sound.

But then he found himself.
Rushing very fast.
Down into a lake
Quite beautiful and vast.

This lake was very still.
Quite calm and undisturbed.
He pondered on his journey.
All the places he had served.

Suddenly the sun shone.
Bright and beaming glad.
He felt lifted right up.
He was no longer sad.

He looked around and found
He was a cloud again.
And yet not quite the same.
For he'd learned something since then.

He knew many things now
Since the thunder storm
He didn't have to be
A certain shape or form.

He could be a rain cloud.
He could be a puddle too.
He could be a dragon
Or a lake of dazzling blue.

Fitting in just couldn't work.
He's a cloud, a lake, rain pour.
He didn't have to be one thing.
He was made for so much more.

Ray of Hope

There are those that are so weary,
Burdened down with life's cruel ways.
Waiting for a glimpse of something
Any hope or sunshine ray.

Why not be that glimpse of sunshine?
Why not be a beacon bright?
Why not show how much your grateful
By serving those who need the light.

Loves transforms the yearning soul
It brightens longing eyes.
It saves that suffering someone
Who's been hurting from the lies.

Lets change the world for better.
With thankful centered minds.
Transforming lives forever
One service at a time.

Untold Battles

There's a story inside each of us.
Fairytales untold.
Behind each shining eye there is
A hero brave and bold.

Who knows what battles have been won?
Who knows what's being fought?
Warriors dwell in each of us.
Victory fiercely sought.

We're all in a war together,
And we're on each other's side
So let's build fortresses of love
Not barricades of pride.

We're all fighting in our different ways
But the enemy's the same.
Let's defeat it with eachother
Let's now alight the flame.

Truth gleams brightly on our side.
Stronger than the sword.
How can we lose when we know
Our Leader is the Lord?

The Little Boy at the Mailbox.

The little boy stands on the curb
And reaches for the mail.
What mysteries await?
Only time will tell.

The mailbox stands taller than him
He poises on tiptoe.
And with an air of importance,
Inside his small hand goes.

He grabs the papers and the bills
And walks inside with pride.
What a responsible man he is!
Such confidence in stride.

Every day, he'll do the same
And take inside the mail.
Reminder that the little things
Can make a man feel swell.

I Want to Be

I want to look at life
As an opportunity;
A chance to grow and be
The best that I can be.

I want to look at life
With eyes of gratitude
With sincerity, kindness,
And the right attitude.

I want to live my life
And keep aiming for the skies.
And be someone who loves
And who every moment, tries.

Robes of Red

Said the merchant to the shepherd:
"It must be dreadful to be poor.
With only sheep for company,
Don't you ever wish for more?

Look at all my finery,
My jewels and threads of gold.
My satin, silk, soft long robes,
And woven colors bold."

"I'm more rich than you think, my friend."
The shepherd humbly said.
"I have pearls and jewels as well
And robes of deepest red."

"Ha!" The merchant scoffed.
"Well, I know you are in jest,
For if you had such things,
You'd wear them like the rest!"

The shepherd then smiled softly
And said "Come, follow me."
He started down a path,
Then looked back, beckoning.

At first the merchant laughed
But he saw the shepherd's eyes
Were serious and calm
And strangely, somehow wise.

Together they walked down the path.
Until they came upon
A meadow fresh with morning's dew
Sparkling in the sun.

"Behold my pearls," the shepherd said.
The man gazed at the sight.
The beaded dew was beautiful.
So small and yet so bright.

Together they walked further
To a large grove of trees.
The leaves shone with vibrancy
A luminous, deep green.

"Look, emeralds,"said the shepherd.
The merchant  struck with awe
Agreed, "Indeed!" He said.
Amazed at what he saw.

"Look above." The shepherd  said.
"And see the threads of gold
Woven in a robe of blue
So brilliant and so bold."

The merchant looked and saw the sky,
The sun was going down.
The atmosphere was tinged with gold
Much like a misty crown.

"Come here and I'll show you,
My robes of deepest red."
He led him to a rose bush
And then the shepherd said,

"These roses are so delicate
But the thorns have pierced my head.
I gave this beauty, and my life.
So you could live again."

The merchant then fell to his knees
Before the Holy Being.
"Forgive me Lord, for all my wrongs.
You truly are a King."

Beautiful Weed

There was a weed
In a garden of daisies.
She felt like she
Didn't belong.

Small, plain and green,
She wondered why
She didn't bloom,
And this was her song:

Why am I here?
I wasn't planted.
I am so different,
Something is wrong.

Everyday
She felt very strange.
Would she be like this
Her whole life long?

One day it rained.
The clouds echoed her pain.
She felt so alone,
So she sang her song:

Why am I here?
I wasn't planted.
I am so different,
Something is wrong.

Then morning came.
The sun smiled down.
The weed felt alive,
And somehow strong.

She realized then,
That she had grown.
Her blossom had been
Within all along.

Although it was different,
And not the right shade,
She felt beautiful,
And this was her song:

I know why I'm here.
I have my own story,
I'm not a daisy, I'm a
Morning glory!

Magic on My Face

The rain is magic on my face.
I wouldn't be in any other place.
Right here right now, with only me,
So alive, and feeling free.
Rain Photo
Bring on the thunder, welcome the storm.
I might be cold, but I'm still warm.
The lightning brightens up the day,
In just a different sort of way.

The clouds are wringing out my fears.
Pouring out the sky's own tears.
Washing the world until it shines
And then the tears and light combine.
 Beautiful Rain Photo
The sun peeks out with one warm grin
The wet washed world welcomes it in.
It blankets the whole droplet land
And makes something bold and grand.
rain drops picture
A dazzling place, so vibrant green
A ready world so bright and clean.
So, bring on the thunder, bring on the rain
It sings out- Begin again!

Four Leaf Clovers

You are like a four leaf clover,
You and different and unique,
You heave talents, you have gifts,
That no one else can beat.

No one finds a four lead clover,
Just to toss it all away.
They admire it's special beauty,
That it brings in it's own way.

People like four leaf clovers,
Because they are so rare,
And it is not quite so special,
To find a three leaf cover there.

Three leaf clovers are all the same,
And not so hard to find,
But four lead clovers are something special,
And brig different thoughts to mind.

And you are like a four leaf clover,
No one is just quite the same,
Don't pull off your special forth leaf,
Shine it in your special way!

Not everyone will notice,
At least not right away,
But you can't find a four leaf clover,
Right at the start of the day.

Four lead clovers are not easy to find,
But it's not their choice to hide away,
So choose to stand up and stand out,
And keep on shining today.

You never know

You never know how much you impact,
Others in your special way,
You never know your unique difference,
That you send out everyday,

You never know what kind of ripple,
Comes from what you did or meant,
And you never know what kind of tear,
Comes from what you made or said.

You never know what your example,
Might have done for a friend,
You never know what kind of seed,
Fell into their flower bed.

You never know what kind if answer,
You were to someone's prayer,
You never know what help you give,
By what you did or what you share.

You never know what happens,
On the other side,
You never know what blooms,
In the other heart or mind.

And since you never know,
What comes from those things,
Be someone's good example,
Be someone else's wings.

Ride Outside

The grass is a vibrant green.
The sky's undeniably blue.
The sun's shining bright,
Such a beautiful sight,
I'd say I'm alright, wouldn't you?
Barefoot I go, taking it in.
Breathing the fresh morning air.
Walking along
The birds sing their song
Freeing myself from all cares.
A couple of quails paddle past
Some slimy snails slink on by
The blossoms are bright
The dew catches light
Fluffy clouds scatter all through the sky.
Under a canopy of trees
I hear the water's melodies
The vines on the wall
Invite mystery's call
New wishes and hopes fill my dreams.
Decide to live in the moment
Time doesn't matter so much.
Look at the trees!
Feel the fresh breeze!
Let go of the bustle and rush.
Why worry when there's plenty of good?
Focus on the positive side.
Sure life has tears and frowns
It has ups and downs,
But that's what makes it a ride!

Priceless

Honesty, righteousness, faith, and trust.
Because our character knows we must.
Purity, virtue, without guile.
Heart and mind, undefiled.

True greatness, comes from within.
Sincere love, without sin.
Strong foundation, no regrets.
Breaking all of Satan's nets.

Power, strength, comfort, care.
Assurance that the Spirit's there.
Treasures in heaven, not on earth.
Aware of our divine worth.

Change of thought, and heart, and deed.
Looking for what others need.
Keeping our word whatever cost.
Nurturing those that are lost.

Loving God more than man.
Doing everything we can.
Try these things and you will see,
Priceless is Integrity.

SHINE!

The sky is not the limit,
And neither are the stars,
If you can dream it you can do it,
So dream and reach so far!

You can do it, you can shine,
Your talents are for you,
Here is where we build them,
So that is what you'll do!

This light that is inside of me,
I'm learning how to make it grow,
I know it comes from up above,
I want the world to know!!!

I feel ready to explode with truth,
Working hard, this feels so right!
Work together, to make it go,
We will shine the light!

This light that is inside me,
I know it comes from Him,
I'm learning how to make it grow,
And shine it like its always been.

I'll search for ways to lift others up up up!
And I know what I have will be enou-ou-ough!
And I know now what I'll do,
I'll shine my light now for you!

I feel ready to explode with truth,
I know what I will do,
I will radiate His lasting light,
And shine it all for you!

Mother's Beacon

First time you meet
Five fingers twined
Around your one
Moment divine.

Who knew one could
Love one so much,
Worth more than gold
One single touch.

The days go by
You watch her walk
She starts to laugh
And sing and talk.

The sweetness in
Those precious times
Fill your heart with
Joy sublime.

You give your best
To be the one
To help her find
God's chosen son.

The years fly by
The girl so small
Is now getting
Rather tall.

Her broken hearts
Become yours too.
You must be strong
To help her through.

All dressed in white
You see her go
But not without
The things you know.

A mothers love
So strong and bright
A beacon of
The purest light.

Wonderful Day to Live

Watermelon juice and dirty feet
Vibrant flowers smelling sweet.

Sitting in the shade of a maple tree
Laughing along and feeling free.

Splashing in the river, walking on logs.
Living discoveries, snails, worms, frogs.

Snacking on Doritos, licking fingers
Hoping this feeling always lingers.

Arms behind our head, gazing at the sky
Watching the fluffy clouds glide by.

This moment is glorious and sublime.
It seems to stand still for a time.

Smiles like sunbeams fill our hearts
Imparting peace that never parts.

Free to love and free to give.
What a wonderful day to live!

Free to Fly

Trapped inside the walls of my mind,
Trying to get out.
But I keep building more brick walls
Of solid fear and doubt.

Looking for one patch of light,
But every time I find
A glimpse of hope, the walls close in.
My trust is left behind.

Every tear drop drowns a smile.
The rain describes my heart.
The clouds of fear surround my soul,
It's tearing me apart.

I cannot get myself out
I'm stuck inside of me.
Will someone help me to escape?
Does someone hear my plea?

As I fall upon my knees
And wait for a reply
I feel a warmth so sweet, so bright,
So strong, and so nearby.

I couldn't get out on my own
But as the time went by
Someone in heaven raised me up,
And freed my soul to fly.

The Night Before The Lord's Return

Here's one for the Easter season. :)

Water droplets scatter
In the whistling wind.
Trees moan and leaves
Reach for their loss.

Cloudy light glimmers on
Sprinkled spider webs.
Emptiness in
The moonlight's gleam.

Absent glory and truth.
The breeze chills the bone.
Some vital part
Of life is gone.

The elements yearning
For natures missing peace
Pleading for hope
To fulfill grace.

The crispy mist full air
And wet trembling grass
Waiting, for the
Tomb is empty.

The best time of the year

The birds are singing oh so sweet!
The magic in the air is oh so neat!
Theres nothing like it, it can’t be beat!
Cause spring is here, best time of the year
You lay out on the grass and sigh,
As you watch the clouds so way up high,

And you never ask or wonder “why”
Cause spring is here, best time of the year

And the breeze blows by and your hair’s pulled up,
You drink lemonade out ‘a your favorite cup!
And everythings perfect, just enough.
Cause summers here, best time of the year.
Friends hang out, and toss a ball,
Running free, and feeling tall,
Break the limits lift off, don’t fall

Cause summers here, best time of the year!

Leaves fall down from off the trees,
Hear the humming of the bees
Carving out the pumpkin seeds,
Cause autumns here, best time of the year!
Corn mazes and getting lost,
On the grass in the morning there is a frost,

A handful of leaves, in the air tossed!
Cause autumns here, best time of the year!

Winter coats and boots and hats,
 Snow is covering the grass,
Christmas lights, a glittering mass,
Cause winters here, best time of the year!
No matter what season it is,
Warm or hot or cold it tis,
Don’t stress about it, adults and kids,

Cause you are here, in the best time of the year!

Rocks

Sometimes life picks up a rock
And chucks it at you, really hard.
It blows you back, you might fall down,
Don't let it keep you on the ground.

Take those rocks, build something strong.
Don't let them trip you one by one.
Use them as your stepping stones.
Not stumbling blocks that break your bones.

There will be pain, there will be fear.
And it's okay to shed some tears.
But don't get stuck inside your head.
Be doing something good instead.

Lift up your eyes, look at the light.
Be grateful that the sun is bright.
See your family all around,
Serve them and love will be found.

Love is hope, and you can see
That love will spread quite rapidly,
Don't let those rocks get in the way
Build with them, a brighter day.

Family time!

Yawns and smiles, a hug and a grin,
Asking how your sleep has been.
Good morning wishes, waking up,
Getting out the breakfast stuff,

Eating food then cleaning up,
Rinsing plates and spoons and cups,
Washing sticky fingers and smiles,
We're ready for the day after a while.

Books are clattering off the shelf,
Sitting reading by yourself,
Or sitting as a family too,
And reading to the younger few.

Writing, reading, studying, sharing,
Singing, praying, cooking, caring!

Family moments to enjoy,
Loving people, girls and boys,
Gospel ties that hold us together,
Making us a family forever and ever!

Tree

One small tree.
Simple, humble, plain.
Wind blows.
Then rain.

Thrust sideways.
Leaning, swaying hard.
Roots reach
Through sward.

Ripping away
Small branches and leaves
Stays strong
Achieves.

Sun comes.
Grounded, strengthened, deep.
Roots firm.
Life keep.

Socks

Getting out of bed
Is hard enough,
But finding socks,
Man, that's just rough!

Frantic searching,
Up,down, left,right.
Finding matches
Is a fright!

You might find two
That look the same,
But to your dismay,
Your hopes were vain.

Socks haunt my dreams.
I close my eyes
Only to find
Socks fill the sky.

They loom upon me
More and more
Closing in
Blocking the door.

"I just want a match!"
I scream.
Waking to find
I live my dream.

Why is it such
A  painful task
To find one simple
Stinking match!

One day, I thought,
I've had enough!
This sock business
Is just too tough.

So I armed myself
And found the drawer
"You socks will have
Power no more!"

I closed my eyes
And picked two socks.
Did they match?
No they did not!

But I have conquered,
For now at last,
I do not care
If my socks match!

Desiderata (The Desired Things)

"Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy."

Touch of Heaven

The length of a breath,
The plea of a prayer.
A thoughtful small act
Of warmhearted care.

The mist of the clouds,
The fall of a tear.
A gentle assurance,
That you need not fear.

The joy of a laugh,
The sun in a smile.
Leisurely staying
And talking awhile.

The fall of a leaf,
The crunch of the snow.
The ticklish green grass
Under your toe.

Each intercource,
Every creature and cell,
Each talent and source,
Each touch, taste and smell,

All of the world,
Right down to you,
Sings out to us all,
To all hope renew!

 Everything testifies
And manifests love.
It all shows the touch
Of heaven above.

On the Rainy Days

How do you feel when you walk in the rain?
Some might feel lonely, or sense a deep pain.

How do you feel when the clouds come along?
Scared, doubtful, worried, like it all has gone wrong?

How do you feel when you can't see the sun?
Does the fog seem to tell you, give up and be done?

How do you feel when you step in the slush?
Distressed, or angry, degrated or crushed?

I feel like this sometimes, and I think you do too,
But let's not be discouraged, let's try something new!

Instead of dwelling on all our bad luck,
Or hating all reason when we're in the muck,

Let's lift up our eyes, to that misty grey sky,
And let the rain fall and wipe your tears dry.

Welcome the unknown! Embrace a new day.
Love that the rain, washes away.

What Are We To Do?

Life sure can get complicated,
Rather discombobulated.
Often times the question's stated:
What are we to do?

Lots of worries, lots of stresses,
Fears and tears and different messes,
Darkness, doubts, too many guesses.
What are we to do?

The wind will blow us to and fro,
Take us into the unknown
And we must decide where to go.
What are we to do?

It all might bring us to our knees
As we beg, and seek and plead
And look to God to meet our needs,
He'll tell us what to do.

It might not all come right away.
Sometimes He'll let the questions stay,
So we can learn to find our way
And have faith as we do.

But as you try to search and find
You're way with God, a different kind
Of light will set you free, unwind,
And you'll know what to do.

He knows the way.

Walking down the strait and narrow way,
Where can we find the strength we need each day?
We cannot find the right way all alone,
Through Him, we can find our way back home.

He knows us, and our weaknesses,
He knows our own uniqueness,
He knows the way right back to Him,
And He's the only way...

We've been so weak for so long,
But next to Him we can be strong,
He carries me when I am lost,
But in His arms I know I won't be tossed, (to the side.)

He knows us, and our weaknesses,
He knows our own uniqueness,
He knows the way right back to Him,
And He's the only way...

So many wonders, so many questions,
So many people to give different suggestions,
Is this alright, is this okay,
What should I learn, what should I say?

He knows us, and our weaknesses,
He knows our own uniqueness,
He knows the way right back to Him,
And He's the only way...

He knows your thoughts, and what you find,
He knows your desires and your mind,
He knows if your truly doing right,
He knows if your following the light.

He knows us, and our weaknesses,
He knows our own uniqueness,
He knows the way right back to Him,
And He's the only way...

In His image we are made,
So don't be afraid,
Your heart knows the truth,
He'll tell you what to do.

He knows us, and our weaknesses,
He knows our own uniqueness,
He knows the way right back to Him,
And He's the only way...

So listen to what He has to say,
Don't give up right now today,
Don't loose the truth of yesterday!
He knows the way!

He knows us, and our weaknesses,
He knows our own uniqueness,
He knows the way right back to Him,
And He's the only way...

The secret staircase.

Based on a true story.

In the closet there's a door,
Its shut very tight,
Its way in the back,
Where there's not a lot of light.

By the door there's a switch,
So I switched the light on,
Then I opened the door,
To see what is going on.

The door creaked open,
And I looked around the corner,
A secret little staircase,
Appeared to my horror,

Curiosity over took me,
Up the stairs I snuck,
To find out what was up there,
Hoping I had some luck,

The ceiling was so low,
but I could jump so high,
Because what I found up there,
Was a total surprise.

A small trampoline,
I could not ever see why,
For you'd hit your head so fast,
If you tried to jump and fly.

So I snuck back down the stairs,
And shut the door back tight,
And switched the light back off,
And kept it out of sight.
