Hello! I'm Color Girl, and I love to read and write poems! I also just love words in general... especially if they happen to rhyme.Snickerdoodle is for sure a kindred spirit. I started writing poems just for fun when I was 12. It was the first time I realized that you didn't have to be famous to create things. (It was a pretty amazing discovery) During the summer of 2013 I was super bored so I wrote a nonsense poem and sent it to Snickerdoodle. In reply she sent one back and that was the beginning of our MC poem book.
The MC poem book came about with many friends telling us to make our own book of poetry. We thought is would be a cool idea and an easy way to organize our poems. The problem was we had to keep adding poems and it took a lot of work. Eventually we had filled up the books we had made. The next idea was to start a blog. I have enjoyed writing and sharing these poems, and I hope you enjoy this blog and watching us both try our best at poetry. Remember that you don't have to be famous to create!
