Easter

When you think of Easter what comes to mind?
Is it bunny's and treats and chocolate combind?
Is it Easter baskets and colorful eggs?
Or maybe Easter egg hunts running legs.

But what is the meaning of Easter truly?
Is it fluffy stuff and being unruly?
Or does it have MORE meaning then just fun,
Like our Saviors love for everyone!

After paying the price for all our sins,
And death on the cross then new begin,
Then after three days risen was He,
So that all man kind may be free!

The resurrection was so grand,
Listen to him for good and,
He will you guide,
And walk by your side,

For you are his child,
Remain meek and mild,
Remember him dearly,
And nothing do fearly,

He has done so much for me and you,
That's why at Easter you get a feeling so true,
It's all about Christ's resurrection and not,
About Easter bunny's and chocolate.

Kind words

Let us speak kind words to each other,
If we do, no contention we'll cause,
Kind words, each sister and brother,
Then the spirit will return as it was,

All of us can do better you see,
Kind words make others feel better,
So let us not speak sarcastically,
And be kind every single letter!

Sometimes we tease just a little,
But sometimes it might not feel nice,
If we stop teasing so much it'll,
Help when breaking the ice!!!

So when a moment comes up,
Don't say something that may be rude,
Instead of push-down, push-up!!
Even if you don't think they find it crude.

So to be builders, we'll all try harder,
And then happiness can be found,
Yes happiness together!
And say kind words all around.

What if...

What If our noses were upside down?
Would it look like our faces were always a frown?
And how would we swim yes how?
I am so glad they are what they are now!

What if our eyes were above our eyebrows?
We'd all look insane there's no doubt!
And what good would that do us? None I'm sure!
So I'm glad eyebrows stay there! Mine and your!

What if we had 60 toes on our feet?
30 on both! Now what do you think?
Imagine the shoes! Imagine the socks!
I'm glad that our feet have less numbers then clocks!

What if we had eight legs and arms?
We'd feel like we could reach to mars!
We could milti task, but think of the shirts,
They might get in the way, there trouble lurks!

And what if we had two heads?
How in the world would you go to bed?
And two colors of hair! That would be cool!
And a second brain would be a tool!

What if we had antennas like ants!
Maybe that would make us look like plants,
We might use them a lot you know,
They might be bad though when watching a show.

What if we all had long faces?
Would it make us look like vases?
Would our eyes look longer and our noses be short?
Then from Layton to fruit heights we could transport!

Oh I'm so glad we are how we are!
Each of us different our own special star!
Our body's are amazing! Thankful for them am I,
It makes me smile, contented and sigh.

Talents are not crappy! Instead they make me happy!

Talents are special gifts from the Lord,
Develop your talents so you won't be bored!
There are many talents to make and explore,
Like painting, and singing and house decor.

Or cooking yummy cookies and chocolate chips,
Or being an acrobat jumping and flips!
Or folding origami into dragons and fish,
Or collecting bugs that you don't want to squish!

Or poem writing! That's lot's of fun!
Or eating yewow gwapes, yum. yum, yum!
Or painting a picture with lots of paint
Or acting 'till your tired and almost faint!

Or zooming super fast on a bike.
Or ballroom dancing into the night,
Or horse riding on your horse, bumpety bump,
Or even making cool duct tape stuff!

Or making delicious green smoothies.
Or finding beautiful red rubies,
Or beat boxing that makes me glad
Or photography, or being a dad!

All these things are gifts from the Lord.
They can help others to find and afford,
Their own special talents amazing and grand!
They help other people to arise and to stand!

 For Truth and God, who inspires us all!
Who lifts us up when we fall.
So increase your talents and follow your dreams!
And keep working on your talents as hard as it seems!
