A Mother's Love

She catches all
The tears that fall
And teaches us
To stand up tall.

A place to go
When we feel low
Is in her arms
So we can know

Of the love
From God above
And comfort brought
Like a dove.

The truth is taught
And deeply sought
And gained from other
Knowledge brought

She is the light
And gives us sight
Her children know
She'll lead to right.

Full of hope
Though others mope
She presses on
And learns to cope.

Her direction
Found reflection
Consistent prayer
And circumspection.

These things and more
Describe for sure
A mothers love
Pure and secure.
