Tummies are rumbling,
Good smells are coming,
There is much chuckling,

On thanksgiving day,

We all gather together,
Each family member,
So we can remember,

Our blessings add up,
"Please pass the ketchup!"
We all get filled up,

Family and friends,
Gather to spend,
A good long weekend.

There's laughter and smiling,
And pie! What good timing,
