Failing Failure

What is my worst fear?
Can I tell you my friend?
Its failing the part,
That I should have been.

It failing to answer,
The only right question,
Its failing obedience,
Or another lesson.

Have you ever felt,
Unsure in suspense,
Questioning many
Decisions and friends?

Have you ever questioned,
Which thing should come next,
Which road to take,
Whats 'round that bend...
I'm spinning in circles,
I'm out of control,
I'm getting confused,
In the worlds big roll.

In life's giant menu,
What should I pick?
What is the best for me
What won't I regret...

I'm lost and lonely,
Where did everyone go?
Which direction is best?
Does anyone know...

This feeling of empty,
Is so hard to place,
Christ, our Older Brother,
The only escape.
Some might not feel worthy,
To pray for God's help,
But you'll always be welcome,
Repent for heavens wealth.

Go quickly now,
Towards the light,
Christ's open arms,
Are now in sight.
He loves you,
An so do others,
Family waiting,
Your sisters and brothers.

It's worth it, hold on!
Don't give up, they shout,
They love you a lot,
And know what its about.

Hugs and kisses,
Jubilation and more,
Those are the things,
That God has in store.

Life isn't easy,
Not even close,
But we can find the way,
Through the Holy Ghost!

We are all capable,
Of many many things,
Just smile, be ready,
To fly, spread your wings!

He comforts and blesses,
His hands will restore,
He loves all His children,
He wants for them more!

So when the dark gets you,
And you feel some bland,
Don't be so unsure,
Reach out-take His hand

Fall time!

Twisting, turning, telling how,
Just exactly it fell down,
Orange, brown but never green,
What a sight, I've never seen

Flitting, fluttering, falling down,
Not exactly touching ground.
Crunching, crackling crushed by feet,
Isn't fall time such a treat.

Rolling, reaching, resting now,
Piling leaves upon the ground,
Colored piles at my feet,
Apple cider is my drink!

Standing tall or sitting short,
Picking pumpkins, what a sport!
Try to find the bestest one,
Even if it weighs a ton!

Looking, listening, we're not lost!
Where's the map and whose the boss?
Going in circles, there's the end!
Come one come all! Come family and friend!

Smiling, sliding, standing strait,
Right beside the garden gate,
Wish he had a brain or two,
Scare-crow friends are welcome too.

Climbing, cautious, carefully!
Sitting high on hay-stacked seats,
Singing songs along the way,
Hayride smiles to end the day.

Memories!

People come and go,
As we learn from them each day,
And something I have learned is that,
True friends will always stay!

When we need them,
They will be there,
They always show,
How much they care.
They teach us truth,
And remember things,
That we did together,
And always remember,
The memories.

Giving gifts and learning,
Smile cause we're free
Showing of our love,
For my friends and friends to be.

Remembering the past,
Looking forward for things to come,
Giving hope and encouragement,
For a job that's been well done.

When we need them,
The will be there!
They always show...
How much they care.
They teach us truth and,
Remember things,
That we did together,
We'll always remember,
The memories.

Who knows just what will happen,
When our ways will finally part,
They may not be right next to me,
But they'll stay here in my heart!

So thank you my friend,
For all we have been through,
For your shining example,
I will always remember you.

When you need me,
I will be there!
I'll try to show...
How much I care.
You teach me truth and,
We'll remember things,
That we did together,
And we'll always remember,
The memories.

Thank you for all,
The memories,
The memories,
Our memories!!!!

What makes a ripple?

What makes the ripple,
Circle out and never stop?
What makes the sunshine,
Glitter off a water drop?

What makes the water,
So sparkling, crystal clear,
What makes the pond,
So still, not a tear.

What makes the river,
Never stop it's moving?
What makes the ocean,
So big and fascinating?

What makes the rain,
So heavy, yet so light,
What makes the rainbow,
That can't be seen at night?

What are like the ripples,
In our life's that don't quite flow,
What do we drop in the world,
That goes and goes and goes?

What happens when we drop,
An unkind word or deed,
What happens if we change,
Kindness to our simple creed?

What if we inspired,
Good things by our ripples,
And they spread out so quickly,
In doubles or in triples.

Then the world would be sent,
Good things in lots of ways,
We would love all those around,
And show it each and every day.

A Mother's Love

It's my Mom's Birthday today, so here's to her!

Looking in their eyes
I can see a love so pure.
A little glimpse of heaven.
So hopeful, bright and sure.

I feel unworthy of this love
Devotion so unfeigned.
I'm an imperfect women,
I'm still often pained.

This responsibility
Is not an easy load
I seek strength beyond my own
And power is bestowed.

Teaching, loving, all I can.
Sincerely I do pray
For my children, all of them,
Each and every day.

The new moment's mysteries
Are filled with joy and fear.
Sadness, doubt, kindness and care
Service, virtue, hope, and tears.

All within this home I keep
These experiences come.
As family, we fall and get up
And each new thing, learn from.

I try to put God first always
I seek Christ's perfect grace
Helping lead our family
To our celestial place.

I hope someday, they can look down
Into my yes and see
That piece of heaven shining bright
And say: "Mother loves me."

God Loves Broken Things

Why is it the cold hard truth
That human beings break?
Why is it us that Satan tries
So desperately to take?

If we're supposed to be elite,
Why do we fail at all?
If God wants us to become great,
Why does he let us fall?

We may question, what, why, how?
In truth, the answer lies
In the fact the God does know
The fallen can arise.

Our Savior loves each of us.
He still loves the darkened.
He even loves the ones who have
Left, and have not hearkened.

He loves the ones who have been
Soaked by all the rain,
And are there in cloudy doubt
And there, think they remain.

Our Savior can use and make
The weak become secure.
God can help the heartbroken,
And peace and love insure.

God can mend the hurting souls,
To make beauty divine.
He can use broken pieces
And make them all align.

But when those deluded ones
Come humbled, seeking love,
With hearts opened unto His will
He'll reach down from above.

If you come unto Him seeking
Though before you were impure,
He'll heal your sorrow even though
Your hope was so unsure.

God doesn't make mistakes

We are all here for a reason,
We were all meant to be,
We all have a mission,
And a certain way we see.
We were all meant for power,
We were all meant to choose,
We all need a Savior,
So repentance we can use.

But God, always has a plan,
We may not be perfect but He did create,
Each one of us, and don't forget,
That God, doesn't make mistakes.

We learn from hardships and trials,
We grow from heartache and sin,
We help each other get closer to Christ,
This battle we will win.
We all need a push sometimes,
A nudge in the right direction,
We all need a little laugh,
To lighten up the situation.

But God, always has a plan,
We may not be perfect but He did create,
Each one of us, and don't forget,
That God, doesn't make mistakes.

We each have a life to lead,
But each one is different,
We each have some things we need,
Have faith and be confident,
There's times where we're needed
There's talents we can use,
There's light we can bring,
We just have to choose!

But God, always has a plan,
We may not be perfect but He did create,
Each one of us, and don't forget,
That God, doesn't make mistakes.

We each have felt down hearted,
We might feel like a failure,
Or try to keep things up,
Then wish that we did better.
One person can't do everything,
So please, please don't try,
Keep it sweet and simple,
Wipe that tear from your eye!

But God, always has a plan,
We may not be perfect but He did create,
Each one of us, and don't forget,
That God, doesn't make mistakes.
